Why TAFE Queensland South West

Unique Student Identifier (USI) - Student Information

From 1 January 2015 if you are undertaking a nationally recognised program at TAFE Queensland you will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Learn all about the USI and how to get your USI for your study.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, you will be required to participate in an interview with a member of our teaching team prior to enrolment.

Resources required

You will require access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online systems, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for students to use at a number of TAFE Queensland South West locations.

You will also require a valid email address, personal stationery (pen and paper), and closed-in shoes.

Timetable

Classes will be delivered 2 days per week over 1 term (10 weeks). Attendance on campus is encouraged for additional study outside of class times.

Please note that timetabling information is subject to change, and may vary each semester/intake.

Placement

Placement is not mandatory, however, you are encouraged to seek work experience in a retail establishment. You are encouraged to approach retailers within your area to minimise travel. This will be discussed on your first day of class and paperwork will be provided to those who wish to take up this opportunity.
