Student self service

Student Self Service

As a TAFE Queensland South West student, you have access to the Student Self Service website which allows you to:

  • update your personal details
  • monitor and manage your account
  • print your academic history
  • update your USI

How do I register?

To get started with Student Self fService, you need to register first.

  1. Go to TAFE Queensland - Self Service
  2. Click on the 'Click Here' button located under the Student Self Service Registration heading.
    You'll need:
    • an email address
    • your home, mailing or term address (if applicable)
  3. Complete the online registration process, answering all the questions about you and your contact details.
  4. If this is done successfully and the details you entered match those held by TAFE, a User ID and temporary password will be emailed to you. These will come in two separate emails. Please contact us if you don't receive them. Fortunately, you only need to do this registration once.
  5. If we don't have an email address for you, or if any of your details don't match our records, you won't be able to register. Call us on 1300 914 754 for help.

 How do I log on to Student Self Service?

Once you have received your User ID and temporary password, you can login.

  1. Go to TAFE Queensland - Self Service
  2. Select the 'Click Here' button that is under the 'Student Self Service Log On' heading
  3. Enter your User ID (student number) and password
  4. Read the terms and conditions and tick the box to say you accept them
  5. Click the 'Log On' button

You can choose a new password when you login for the first time. Once you've done this, you'll be taken back to the login page. Wait 30 seconds before putting in your new password (it takes a moment for your new password to take effect). You'll also need to change your password every 30 days - for security reasons.
