If you have difficulty paying the full amount of a course upfront, you may be eligible for a payment plan.

Once you have a deposit of 25% of your course fees, you can apply for your interest free student payment plan through our Customer Service Centre. You will need to complete a Payment Plan Application Form (DOC, 517KB) and provide the required documentation (including identification and pay advice/income statements).

A payment plan will not be granted:

  • for enrolment into short courses
  • to any person less than 18 years of age, unless a guarantor is agreed to by the TAFE
  • where the total fees payable are less than $500.00 (unless negotiated with the General Manager or Delegated Officer)
  • for the purchase of any item of saleable stock (e.g. student exercises, workbooks etc.)
  • if an outstanding debt exists with TAFE Queensland or has been written off
  • if institute staff determine an unsatisfactory credit history, or payment terms on previous payment plan arrangements have not been adhered to
  • if inadequate documentation is provided.

Cancellation of enrolment does not necessarily cancel the obligation to make all payments under the payment plan.
